What information SFF collects
SFF may collect the following information from you:
- Your username, email address and password
- Your country

Summary:
SFF collects the username, email address and password your provide SFF with. SFF may collect your country based on what your brower requests state. None of this information is shared with third parties.
For analytics, SFF uses a third-party service, Vercel Analytics. This service is designed to be privacy-friendly and doesn't store anything identifiable about a user, or sells any data forward.
SFF doesn't share any of its user data with Vercel Analytics. It essentially lets me know the number of page hits, on what type of device and from where without identifiable specifics for any user.
How we use your information
SFF uses your information for the following purposes:
- To provide you with your personal collection of recipes.
- To personalize titles of collections and provide a more pleasing identifier for the user.
- To ensure nobody can access a users recipes if not authorized to.
- To better understand how and where the app is being used.
Summary:
Your username, email address and password are all used to ensure you can access your account and all recipes associated with your account (and keeps out those who shouldn't be accessing your recipes).
Your email address is also used to ensure SFF has a means to communicate with you when neccessary.
SFF collects the country that a user is in to better understand where the app is being used. Not everyone's American :)
Your username is used to have a nicer identifier with your account than something like #user128038924234.
How SFF protects your information
SFF takes reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
- Your password is stored hashed. SFF cannot view it and does not have any means of retrieving it if lost.
- SFF does not share your personal information with third-parties for any purposes.
Summary:
We take your personal information seriously and aren't flippant about it. What you share with SFF is used to make the app work for SFF and for you and is not sold to third parties.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes to this policy and obtain your consent if required by law.
